Morning beaches
Cala Salada. Twenty minutes from San Antonio, unreasonably beautiful, and full by eleven. Send guests early.
Cala Xuclar. A tiny north-coast cove with one restaurant and no pretension.
Aigües Blanques. East coast, wide, wild, best in the morning light.
Beaches for a long lunch
Cala Bassa. Organised, easy, family-friendly, reachable by boat from San Antonio.
Benirras. Sunday drums, pine trees, and the best sunset on the north coast.
Es Cavallet. The south's long sandy stretch with the salt flats behind it and good beach restaurants along it.
Worth the boat
Formentera. Not a beach, an island — and the single best day trip you can give your guests. Leave early, book the restaurant, come back late.
Give guests one organised beach day and leave the rest of the week open. Weddings where every hour is scheduled exhaust everybody.
