Guests are travelling, not attending
A destination wedding asks a lot: flights, accommodation, time off, a week of expense. Everything you do to reduce friction is repaid.
The four things that matter
Information. One simple website with dates, dress, transport and recommendations. Sent early, updated once.
Accommodation. Reserve blocks at two or three price levels and say clearly what each costs. Guests hate guessing.
Transport. Never make guests drive at night. Coaches from a small number of pick-up points, with a return that runs twice.
Gaps. One organised event per day, maximum. People came to an island; let them use it.
Send the practical information at least four months out. Villa availability in Ibiza disappears earlier than flights do.
