Welcome dinner
You want somewhere that can take 40 to 80 people outdoors without becoming a function room. The island's agroturismos and countryside restaurants do this best — long tables, sharing plates, no microphone.
Long lunches
Beach restaurants on the south coast handle wedding groups every week of the season and know how to pace a four-hour lunch. Book at 2pm, not 1pm; nothing in Ibiza starts on time.
The morning after
Keep it in town, keep it unplanned, and tell people where you will be rather than inviting them formally. A late breakfast at the harbour and whoever appears, appears.
Book every group meal the moment you have a date. The good tables for 40 people are gone in March.
