The four types
Fincas. Rustic, agricultural, whitewashed. Usually private, usually empty, always beautiful. Expect to bring in everything.
Cliffside villas. Sunset ceremonies over the water. Smaller capacities, stricter noise rules, unforgettable photographs.
Beach clubs. Infrastructure already in place, relaxed atmosphere, easier logistics, less privacy.
Private estates. Space for a full weekend, on-site accommodation, the highest ceiling for both ambition and cost.
The questions that matter
- What time must music stop, and is that licence written down?
- Is the venue exclusively yours, and for how many hours?
- What is already on site: kitchen, power, bathrooms, furniture?
- How far is the nearest guest accommodation?
- Is there a genuine wet-weather option, or a marquee quote?
A venue that costs 12,000 euros and needs 40,000 euros of production is more expensive than a venue that costs 30,000 euros and needs 15,000. Always compare the total, never the hire fee.
Location on the island
The north is quieter, greener and slower. The south-west has the sunsets and the highest concentration of villas. The centre is a compromise that works for almost everyone, and it keeps guest transfers short.
