Cook with the island, not against it

The best Ibiza wedding food is simple and local: grilled fish, tomatoes that taste of something, olive oil, almonds, herbs from the roadside. Heavy, plated, formal menus fight the climate and the setting.

The shape of the day

  • Aperitivo — 90 minutes, standing, generous. This is the part guests remember.
  • Dinner — family-style sharing platters at long tables travel best in the heat and keep the table alive.
  • Late food — after midnight, something salty and unpretentious. Bocadillos, jamón, tortilla.

Drinks

Local wine from Mallorca and the mainland, cava rather than champagne for the toast, and one well-made signature drink instead of a full cocktail list. Water everywhere, all day.

Budget 180 to 350 euros per guest for food and drink. Below that, something is being cut that guests will notice.
